This will be a comprehensive review of our experience with APS Motor Canarias. For those who read only the top sentence, the conclusion is that the technical team of APS... Leer más did solve all our problems, including two turbo swaps and general engine servicing (oil, filters, belts, etc). FWIW, they were heroes to get all the parts in record time and enabled us to be ready to start the ARC+ on time, big thank you to Manuel and Hector for making it possible!!! Longer story, we booked service 1 month before arriving at Las Palmas. The team was very proactive asking us to chat via WhatsApp where they asked what needs to be done, requested for photos of the engines, the location of the filters and overall, left us feeling very confident that the service would be done impeccably. After we arrived, we were very understanding that they had plenty of work and accepted that they didn't service us right away, we waited. After waiting, we finally got confirmation that the team would visit our boat, we waited the full day and no one appeared. Next day when we went to the shop, the front shop guy was surprised as he didn't know that the team didn't come. This story repeated 3 times and the front shop guy was always making excuses, not giving us clear dates and not communicating clearly. The 4th time, the mechanic did show and it was a breath of fresh air. Manuel, incredibly professional went and started the service and while doing it, immediately recognized a common problem with Volvo engines (even brand new ones) which is a weakness in the Turbo. This lead to us having to need to replace two turbos (two engines, two turbos). This was epically stressful because it was going to throw all of our plans away and there was no confirmation of when the Turbo could arrive (best estimate was 3 days). In a miracle performed by Manuel and Hector, the stars of the story, they did managed to get Turbos in less than 24 hours and Manuel was able to install and get the engines back to work. It was a miracle, we were blown away! We only have incredibly nice things to say about Manuel, honest, super hard working, great communicator and someone that really cares about his work. We wish we could have met Manuel from day 1.

Leer más them don't even know English... before was a canarian company running it more efficiently a Canarian compay with 40 years of experience more call "potencia Marina" and stuff speaking English, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch and French....one day when they entered in the canaries market i saw how a client say "hiii, thanks" when open a doors and i remember to liseng to the Spanish guy talking in Spanish... staying "gracias" "pasa por favores" those people are not prepared got the Canary islands market....
